    王政忠,台灣南投縣立爽文國中教導主任。著有《老師,你會不會回來?》,講述作者於台灣九二一大地震後堅守偏鄉教育崗位的經歷。作品出版後得到廣泛關注,並成為當地網路書店年度暢銷書;於2017年改編成為同名電影,迅速掀起當地社會對偏鄉教育的討論,及後更於香港及馬來西亞上映。
    王主任對教育專業的熱情和貢獻,先後得到台灣教育部及當地教師組織頒發獎項予以肯定,更是目前唯一一位兼獲「Power教師」(2008)、「Super教師」(2011)及師鐸獎(2014)的得獎人。
    王主任對提升學生學習動機及效能的教學法有獨到見解,2009年起在校內推動教學法改革,其創立的MAPS教學法(見《我的草根翻轉~MAPS教學法》),吸引當地教師自發到該校參與教學觀摩及研習;2015年發起名為「我有一個夢」教學研習社群,促成了當地由下而上的教師專業學習浪潮,單以2018年計參與教師已超過20,000名。

    「老師,你會不會回來?」一個學生的問題,撼動了一位教育工作者的心,亦為他全情投入偏鄉學校的教育工作揭開了序幕。本環節,王政忠主任將與參加者回溯十九年前的那一刻,討論教育價值及教師角色,尋找那至此不忘的教育初心。

    When the students cried and asked him “Teacher, will you be coming back?”, Mr. Wang Cheng-chung was deeply moved and decided to commit himself to teaching in a rural, underprivileged school for over 19 years. In this keynote, the speaker will bring participants back to the moment, in search of the value of education and the very beginning mind of being a teacher.

    Reversing the Education of a Rural School

    翻轉教育——從一所偏鄉學校說起

    南投縣立爽文國中位處全台灣最貧窮的平地鄉鎮之一,亦是在該縣稅收最少的學區。在荒煙漫草的校園裡,在九二一地震摧毀全倒的建築中,該如何克服偏鄉學校弱勢不利的惡性循環,為打造孩子們的快樂天堂?王政忠主任將在本環節,分享該校如何透過MAPS教學、學習護照等不同策略,談如何從課堂教學、學生活動等層面,翻轉一所偏鄉學校的教育。

    Nantou Shuang Wen Junior High School is located in one of the poorest rural provinces in Taiwan, also in the school district with the lowest tax in the province. Came face to face to the insufficient resources, low student motivation and negative school ethos, as well as the massive destruction of the 921 Earthquake, how to turn the school into a paradise for students despite these limitations? In this session, Mr. Wang Cheng Chung, the Director of Academic Affairs of the school, is going to share with participants how the school has started to reverse the education of a rural school via systematic teaching method (“MAPS”), extracurricular activities and other effective strategies.
